Come join the Outing Club (UMOC) at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst for our 3rd annual No Man's Land Film Festival on April 20th, 2022. Through efforts of club members advocating for a more concerted effort be made to foster a more inclusive, diverse, and accessible club for all, NMLFF has partnered with the University of Massachusetts since 2019 with the shared goal to empower and inspire audiences to un-define femininity in adventure through film.
As leaders in and members of the outdoor community, UMOC aims to hold trips where identity, skill, or socioeconomic background are irrelevant to participation by focusing on the ways in which exclusion manifests. No Man's Land Film offers on opportunity for engaging and educational discussions and a chance to reflect and learn as a club.
NMLFF portrays the wicked talented accomplishments of folks who have been historically marginalized in Outdoor adventure settings in the coolest way possible: film! We look forward to celebrating their stories with our club members and the wider five college community!
Doors to this event will open at 6:45 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. showtime. Tickets are $5 for University students and $7 for the general public. The date was formally April 20th and has been updated to Thursday, April 21st in Bartlett Room 65.
