No Man's Land is going back to school! The Stanford Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (the d.school) welcome the No Man's Land Film Festival on Wednesday - May 14, 2025. The d.school celebrates reimagining the future and the power of storytelling. This event is free and open to the public. Outdoor Adventures and Campus Assault Resources and Education (CARE) are excited to join together to host our first No Man’s Land Film Festival on the University of San Diego’s campus! We invite folks to join us for a night of celebration, inspiration, collective processing and community building. This custom film program centers the intersectional identities of women and non-binary voices in their storytelling and experiences outdoors.

Doors open to the event at 7:00 p.m. for a chance to come together and enter your ticket in an outdoor gear raffle. The program will begin at 7:15 p.m. with a welcome and raffle prizes. Film program begins at 7:30 p.m. After the film program, we will host an optional discussion and processing opportunity.

This event is free to all university students in the San Diego area! Please be prepared to show your student ID at the doors. All genders are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Tickets are priced for community members at a suggested donation of $15 at the door. Your donation helps to break down financial barriers and increase access for Outdoor Adventures programs at the University of San Diego.

No Man’s Land Film Festival is thrilled to return to Hamilton, NY, in partnership with Colgate Outdoor Education for its seventh annual screening! This event brings together local residents and university students to celebrate the resilience and creativity of women and gender-diverse athletes in the outdoors. Through a powerful selection of films, we aim to challenge traditional narratives and amplify underrepresented voices in adventure media. Proceeds from the event will support Melanin Base Camp, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing ethnic minority and LGBTQ+ participation in outdoor spaces. Skidmore College, Outing Club, and the Pride Alliance are proud to host a special screening of the No Man’s Land Film Festival (NMLFF), a festival dedicated to showcasing the inspiring stories of women, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming adventurers in the outdoors. This event is part of our ongoing effort to promote accessibility and inclusive practices in outdoor recreation, both on Skidmore’s campus and in the greater Saratoga region.

In addition to the screening, we will feature guest speakers, including Skidmore’s Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Hilary Montague-Asp, as well as representatives from Outing Club and Pride Alliance. Through a panel discussion and Q&A, members will share ways to make outdoor spaces more inclusive and how Skidmore can work towards fostering a more welcoming community in the outdoors.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and the No Man’s Land Film Festival both focus on raising awareness and advocating for gender equity, safety, and justice, though they do so in different ways. Tying them together emphasizes the shared goal of challenging harmful narratives and fostering dialogue about women's rights, safety, and representation.

By combining the themes of awareness, empowerment, and challenging harmful norms, both Sexual Assault Awareness Month and the No Man's Land Film Festival work toward creating a more just and equitable world where women's voices are valued, their safety is prioritized, and their potential is limitless. These two initiatives can amplify each other by creating spaces for important conversations about the realities women face, both in terms of violence and in pushing boundaries in the face of adversity.

The Girl Up club at Fryeburg Academy is excited to bring No Man's Land Film Festival to the Mount Washington Valley again for a fourth year!  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with rad raffle items and a vendor fair highlighting local, women-owned, and outdoor-oriented businesses. The films will begin at 6:30 p.m. There will be snacks and a raffle at intermission.

Suggested $10 cash donation at the door to support Fryeburg Academy's Girl Up club - contributing to advancing girls' rights, health, and education in developing countries and promoting gender equality within sports and the outdoors.

Pitt Outdoors Club is hosting No Man’s Land on campus! We’ll have free pizza, raffle tickets for Osprey backpacks and Ascend day passes, outdoors club shirt distribution and then a showing of the films. Doors open at 2:00 p.m. and showtime begins at 2:30 p.m. This is a free event!

The No Man’s Land Film Festival (NMLFF) is proud to announce its tour stop arrival in La Crosse, Wisconsin, on Friday, March 28th, at the historic Rivoli Theater. This exciting event, which will be held in partnership with UW-La Crosse Outdoor Recreation, Beer By Bike Brigade, and the Rivoli Theater, celebrates and elevates the voices of women, men, and gender-diverse individuals in the outdoor industry. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the show starting at 7:00 p.m. Best of all, the event is completely FREE! Tickets can be reserved through the Beer By Bike Brigade mobile app.

No Man's Land 10th Annual World Tour returns with another bang line up of films to stoke you out and leave you more empowered than before. As the NMLFF is known for shining a light on women and gender non-conforming athletes and storytellers, Patagonia Buckhead is proud to host another film screening to showcase such individuals.

Selected films to be shown will feature themes of conservation and pride in the outdoors. Adventure Crew is excited to bring the premier all-women adventure film festival back to Cincinnati! Join us for the No Man's Land Film Festival on Wednesday, March 26 at MadTree Parks & Rec in Blue Ash. This fun, inspiring evening will kick off with social time from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., with the film festival beginning at 7 p.m. Films will focus on a range of outdoor themes, from climbing to winter sports to conservation. It's a great way to cap off Women's History Month!

All proceeds from the event will benefit Adventure Crew, whose mission is to connect city teens to nature and each other through engaging outdoor adventures. A cash bar and food will be available for purchase on site.

The Vanderbilt Climbing Team is hosting a showing of the No Man's Land Film Festival's climbing reels! We hope to celebrate the achievements of women and gender-inclusive climbers and foster an environment of inclusion in our team. This event will be held in the Multicultural Space as a movie night welcome to any Vanderbilt student.

The Bishop Climbing Rangers will be hosting a special screening of No Man’s Land Film Festival, as our annual Spring Fundraiser dedicated to protecting and preserving the Bishop climbing areas. This will also be a pre-festival event for the Flash Foxy Climbing Festival. Join us in Mammoth Lakes for a night of inspiring films celebrating women and gender-diverse adventurers while directly supporting stewardship efforts of the Bishop Climbing Ranger Program. The Climbing Rangers work to educate visitors, protect fragile ecosystems, and maintain access to these world-class climbing areas through conservation projects and community outreach. Come connect with the climbing community, get stoked for the weekend ahead, potentially win some fun door prizes and swag, and give back to the landscapes that make it all possible!

This is Sandpoint's second year in a row hosting No Man's Land and we are beyond stoked! What makes this event special is that 100% of all ticket and raffle sales go to two amazing non-profits that align with inclusion and the outdoors thanks to our two amazing sponsors Matchwood Brewing and Claire Anderson!

Last event we raised over $7,000 for two local non-profits who uplift our outdoor community! This year we plan to donate 100% of the event proceeds to two of Sandpoint's most equality and mental health-focused non-profit organizations; Sandpoint Alliance for Equality, (SAFE) the first LGBTQ+ non-profit in North Idaho, and The Ethan Murray Fund, a non-profit dedicated to offering and expanding support for mental health in North Idaho. 

We have two amazing sponsors Matchwood Brewing and Claire Anderson who is a local business owner. Both of these organizations sponsored our last event and we hope to bring on more sponsors to help offset the cost of hosting the film festival.

During the event, we’re hosting an amazing raffle and we are in the process of finding local rad women who are a part of the outdoor industry to be on a panel before the film! The morning following the event, everyone is invited to join us to shred up at our local ski resort Schweitzer!

Hosted at the Patagonia Pittsburgh store, this 90-minute program will show how women, although underrepresented in the conservation field, are making change for the good of the environment. Afterward, enjoy a Q&A session with a selection of MWA’s conservation and advocacy staff, who are actively working to safeguard clean water in the Laurel Highlands. 

Proceeds from the evening will benefit MWA’s Legal Defense Fund, which supports our work to halt the expansion of a deep coal mine already operating in the Donegal, PA area. Doors for the event open at 6:00 p.m. and showtime begins at 6:30 p.m. General admission is $15. See you there!
