Pack & Paddle has its roots not only in the outdoors, but also in the vision for women accessing wild places. In 1974 Joan Williams founded Pack & Paddle as a means to get Girl Scouts on the water canoeing. Ever since then, they have given thousands of women their start on paddling and hiking trips in our unique South Louisiana ecosystem. The sign of the storefront reads: "Inspiring Horizons" and No Man’s Land Film Festival is proud to debut in Lafayette, LA for the very first time to inspire new horizons for women adventuring outdoors!

We are heading back to the Front Range this summer with more moxie and grit than ever before! In partnership with the Colorado Mountain Club, we are making our debut in Golden, CO at the American Mountaineering Center for the inaugural Volunteer Leadership Conference. No Man’s Land kicks off the CMC Conference on Friday evening, starting with a happy hour and gear expo from the outdoor industry's top brands. Saturday and Sunday’s workshops, outdoor skills clinics and outings, including a keynote speech from Chris Warner (Colorado local and one of the most accomplished mountaineers in the US.), is a part of the larger CMC Leadership Project—a statewide program to invest in our volunteer leaders and support their work. Summerfest is a new climbing festival by Flash Foxy that celebrates women, is organized by women but open to anyone to attend. It will take place June 7th - 9th in the New River Gorge. All speakers, panels, presentations will focus on the stories, challenges and triumphs of women in climbing. This includes a focus on intersectional feminism and the challenges faced by many underrepresented groups in climbing (i.e. LGBTQ+, POC, adaptive). This No Man’s Land Film Festival screening is open to ticket holders only. This event is open to all genders.
We are over the moon to be attending this year’s 2019 GoPro Mountain Games for the best all-around mountain experience anywhere in the world June 6th-9th! Thousands of pro and amateur adventure athletes sign up each year and converge upon the mountains and rivers of Vail to compete in 11 disciplines and more than 30 competitions including kayaking, running, slackline, DockDogs, trail running, mountain and road cycling, climbing, photography and more—but the competitions are just the beginning!
This event features the GoPro Mountains of Music free concert series throughout the weekend.
