Since 2015, No Man's Land Film Festival has been the premier all-women adventure film festival. For almost ten years, our small but mighty team has been committed to enhancing the feminine presence in the adventure arena, outdoor media, and film. As a BIPOC and women-led 501(c)(3), we have made huge strides toward a just and equitable future for people of all genders. No Man’s Land seldom leans on our community for financial support (we have a Tina Fey “I can do it! I can have it all!” complex that we are processing in therapy). But it is only with the support of people like you that we hope to continue this work for decades to come.
We are at the forefront of a movement and ask that you join us in empowering the present and future generations of women to elevate themselves from supporting roles and lead us into the wild and radical unknown. 2015 - 2020 | Adventure Labs
A youth-specific pilot program that brings kid-friendly films, educational curriculum, and speakers to the classroom for grades K-12 at no cost.
2015 - current | PitchFest and Film Fund
An opportunity for women filmmakers, storytellers, athletes, and creatives to come together and pitch their ideas to a panel of judges. Winner(s) are awarded financial support from the Film Fund and a premiere at the Flagship event the following year.
2020 - current | Black, Indigenous, and genderqueer Filmmaker Funds
A grant dedicated to Black, Indigenous, or genderqueer adventure filmmakers who are making waves in the industry.
2015 - current | Discussion Panels
These facilitated exchanges for those navigating the outdoor and adventure industry and are represented in various formats for women, men, and gender-nonconforming allies, athletes, educators, filmmakers, photographers, entrepreneurs, stewards, and more.

Our tour stops have been hosted by a wide array of organizations, including outdoor retailers, schools and universities, corporations, environmental organizations, community groups, theaters, local governments, and individuals. Dedicated partners bring No Man’s Land to life in their hometown as a fundraiser or community event. Hosts pay a one-time fee and 100% of the ticket go back to the show host.
