pitchfest
No Man’s Land Film Festival is committed to supporting emerging women and gender-nonconforming filmmakers whose work aligns with our mission of gender equality, equitable accessibility, conservation, and diverse outdoor representation. The film fund is a scholarship open to the wider adventure community and was created with female and genderqueer (queer male, female, and non-binary) filmmakers in mind. This is an opportunity for folks to break the mold in the adventure film industry.
We need to hear these stories now, more than ever, and wish to help remove barriers of cost that prevent filmmakers from reaching their goals. Not only is this a moment for women in film to be granted funding, but this is a space for networking with other industry creatives. Pitchfest is an opportunity for women and gender-nonconforming filmmakers, storytellers, and athletes to come together and pitch their ideas to a panel of judges. Winners will be awarded $2,500 each from our Film Fund. Applicants must submit their proposals by MARCH 30, 2026. Finalists will be notified by APRIL 6, 2026. Please contact submit@nomanslandfilmfestival.org for all inquiries.
