Celebrate Black History Month with a powerful night of film, conversation, and community.
Join us from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. for a special NMLFF film screening event featuring an incredible lineup of films and Filmmaker Q+A with Director Chad Brown and Athlete Latasha Greene! Your $20 donation packs a big punch and includes the full program, popcorn, and plenty of cool beverages — including sparkly waters, Olipop, and beer generously provided by Creature Comforts Brewing Co! Thanks to these generous donations, we’ll have plenty to share. We’ll also be hosting a special artist giveaway with Jitterbug Art Studio!
Featured films include an emotional, visually stunning documentary following five BIPOC women on an expedition into the Arctic Circle National Wildlife Refuge (Izhit gwandaii goodlit — “where life begins”), a portrait of Devin Brown’s journey as she seeks to become the first Black woman on record to kayak the entire Mississippi River…and so much more.
Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., Filmmaker Q+A at 6:00 p.m., and film showtime is at 7:00 p.m. General admission is $20. This event is in partnership with Patagnia Buckhead and proudly presented by No Man’s Land Film Festival. Come for the films, stay for the conversation — and help us kick off Black History Month by celebrating stories of resilience, belonging, and sisterhood in the outdoors. 🍿✨
