No Man’s Land Film Festival is thrilled to be a part of the Wilderness Education Association’s 2021 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP! Wilderness Education in a Changing World: is hosted by WEA and 2nd Nature.
How has wilderness education changed from its historic roots? What will it look like in the future? This year’s virtual conference theme focuses on examining the changing landscape of wilderness education in the context of the WEA 6+1 Educational Components. Wilderness education and outdoor leadership course delivery practices must keep pace with a changing society including an increased use of virtual learning and technology, increased focus on environmental integration and place-based education, programming in suburban settings, and supporting transformational experiences in shortened course durations, all with more intentional focus on diversity and inclusion. General admission to this film screening is included with registration for WEA Conference, or a stand-alone Film Festival price is $15.
