We are proud to have Stonewall Jackson Middle School in Charleston, West Virginia take part in our free kids film programming this March 5th. Stonewall Jackson Middle School hosts a diverse population of students from the West side of Charleston, West Virginia that find themselves on the lower third of the socio economic status. These kids find themselves succeeding more in sports than in the classroom do to backgrounds and home lives. The hope is to show students that role models who aren't necessarily professional athletes do exist, but also reminding them that having a backup plan will allow them the freedom to enjoy the activities they love. Stonewall Jackson Middle School hopes to emphasize something other than mainstream TV sports and that having a healthy body can directly correlate to having a healthy mind.
