We are proud to partner with Laurentian University's WGSSA (Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies Association) for a Film Night and Panel Discussion! Join us on Wednesday, May 23rd at the McEwen School of Architecture. The post-film panel discussion will consist of five local leaders and active community members. These include local filmmakers, activists, adventure guides, athletes and outdoorists who will speak on equality and diversity in outdoor adventure. Let's build a diverse, inclusive and passionate outdoor community together! WGSSA is committed to transform filmgoers into a congregation of committed activists who have a desire to experience their passions and environment through a uniquely female lens. To inspire, engage meaningful conversation, build local alliances and support a shared vision of gender equality in outdoor adventure. Finally - partial proceeds will be going to a local women’s services in the Sudbury community! This event is $15 for general admission. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and showtime begins at 7:00 p.m. See you soon, Ontario!
