From screen to stage

WE PROUDLY welcome Rab athletes Anna Hazlett and Karly Rager to the No Man’s Land stage. THESE WOMEN ARE absolute forces redefining what it means to show up, send hard, and speak louder. Come for the films, stay for the stories that’ll light a fire under you. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this duo.

ANNA HAZLETT // SHE, HER

Anna started bouldering at a gym in Southern California at 16 years old. With Joshua Tree so close, she quickly shifted her focus to the outdoors. Granite boulders – especially those in J. Tree– demand footwork and balance, and Anna picked these techniques up in spades as she progressed through the grades, focusing on slab and vertical test pieces. In climbing and in life, Anna has a single focus: to embrace discomfort, keep learning, and have fun. In 2021, she set her sights on trad climbing and before the end of the year, Anna sent Once Upon a Time in the Southwest (E9 6c | 5.13b/c R), becoming one of the few women to have climbed E9. It was one of her first trad ascents ever. Anna then became the first woman to climb the Walk of Life (E9 6c | 5.13d R/X) in 2022. Since then, she’s ticked an impressive list of climbs with few ascents including the Quarryman (E8) in a day, Spank the Monkey (5.13d R), and Prinzip Hoffnung (E9/10 5.13d/14a R).

Anna views climbing as a form of constant growth. She’s always pushing to venture outside her comfort zone and try new things – crack, offwidth, ice, you name it. Not one to keep adventure to herself, Anna shares it all through her other passion: film. On YouTube, she offers a vulnerable and lighthearted take on climbing while pushing her limits and traveling the world. Because it’s not just about the ascents: it’s about the journey and the people.

Anna’s a strong advocate for the LGBTQ2S+ and BIPOC communities, as well as for female empowerment. She’s an equally strong advocate for chronically underappreciated slab climbing: “slab is sexy,” after all.

KARLY RAGER // SHE, HER

Leaving her job as an engineer for climbing was the scariest and easiest decision Karly ever made. It's been 4 years now and she hasn’t looked back. Karly found climbing in the Black Hills of South Dakota as a rebellious 18-year-old. It clicked instantly. She was a gymnast as a kid and bringing that kind of movement outdoors felt like a dream come true. She cut her teeth in the Poudre Canyon, CO and Ten Sleep, WY while still finishing her engineering degrees & then working as an engineer for 4 years.

But Karly spent each day behind a computer screen with her mind on the rock. In 2020, she quit engineering, moved into her van, started her own climbing coaching business (Project Direct Coaching), and became a full-time climber.  In addition to doing what she loves, helping others improve their climbing helped her own relationship with the sport feel much more fulfilling and sustainable.

Karly loves sport climbing & multi-pitch climbing. She strives to not have one “style” but to be comfortable on all rock types at all angles. She is most inspired by lines that require every tool in the toolbox - slabs to roofs, cracks to tufas, kneebars to handjams.. You’ll find her tryin’ hard on rock around Mexico & the western US.

lvdy // she, her

Aubrey and Kathleen’s journey began in 2012 when they met while studying abroad in Dunedin, New Zealand. Quickly becoming the best of friends, they bonded over shared dreams of traveling the world and sharing their music. Their jam sessions, often set in chilly New Zealand flats, eventually led to the formation of LVDY. After returning to the U.S., they continued playing on front porches and in the homes of friends and family, turning late-night kitchen jams into the spark of their original music. Currently, LVDY is in the midst of releasing new music that they feel is their best yet, with fresh songs that continue to push the boundaries of their evolving sound. They’re also gearing up for their biggest headlining show to date at the iconic Bluebird Theater in Denver, CO, on June 13, 2025. It’s a milestone moment for the duo, and they can’t wait to share it with their ever-growing LVDYMOB.

KAREN LANE // SHE, HER

The music that sets the tone for the 2026 No Man’s Land Festival trailer comes alive with LVDY in a live performance that hums with feeling and intention. Let the sound wash over you before we gather IN ASHEVILLE.

LVDY [pronounced “LADY”] is the Colorado-based duo of Kathleen Hooper and Aubrey Mable, creating music that moves, uplifts, and connects. With roots in singer-songwriter, indie-folk and a sound shaped by soaring harmonies and organic instrumentation, LVDY crafts songs that feel like home. In unison, it is almost unrecognizable who’s who, and in harmony, an effortless blend that welcomes the exhale. Their uplifting sound and intimate storytelling weave love anthems in and out of their messages, with simple yet important reminders that we’re not alone.

Their ethereal harmonies, musical warmth, and meaningful lyrics find inspiration in the beauty of the outdoors as they draw influence from artists like Maggie Rogers, Rising Appalachia, Brandi Carlile, JOSEPH, and Trevor Hall. Though their roots lie in the singer-songwriter realm, their music is intentionally genre-fluid, allowing them to adapt their sound to a wide range of audiences, settings, and collaborations.

Through it all, LVDY remains driven by the belief that music is medicine and community is everything.
