6:00 PM | LAnd acknowledgment + OPENING SPEECHES
No Man’s Land Film Festival acknowledges that its Flagship event takes place on the traditional and unceded territories of the Ute, Cheyenne, and Arapaho Peoples. We would like to recognize that the MCA Denver’s Holiday Theater and the greater city of Denver reside within these traditional territories and ancestral homelands, as well as recognize the 48 contemporary Indigenous Tribes and Nations who have historically called Colorado home. In recognizing Indigenous peoples as the original stewards of the land, water, plants, and animals who called this place home, we pay our respects to Elders past, present, and future, and to all those who have stewarded the land and water for generations.
6:15 - 7:00 PM | N3PTUNE LIVE
Remember when N3PTUNE blew away our Denver audience in 2023 with his infectious energy and stomping, bluesy rock style? Returning to the stage, front and center, to kick off Opening Night for another electrifying musical performance. N3PTUNE is here to shake up the industry and create magic that’s unbound by traditional musical genres. Here for one night only, don’t be a bystander to the Renaissance. Experience it for yourself.

1:00 PM | Doors open
Doors for our afternoon panel discussions will open at 1:00 p.m., with our first panel beginning at 1:30 p.m. Our friends at Middle State are providing the bean water, so come early and get a jolt before it’s gone. Please bring a reusable cup for your complimentary cupped lightning.
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM | FRAME BY FRAME: WOMEN SHAPING THE LENS
Our 2025 Women in Film + Photography Panel Discussion poses questions about the changing landscape of gender and visual culture as it explores the roles of women and genderqueer people as subjects, creators, and consumers. Women, genderqueer, and gender nonconforming people are still underrepresented behind the camera, but not for lack of interest, talent, or skill. These thoughtful leaders will share their journey in their industry and talk about how the courage to rise and make change has shaped their futures and careers. We’re honored to highlight the role of women in influencing the visual arts and proudly invite Ellen Bradley, Erin McGrady, Dani Reyes-Acosta, and Janelle Dransfield to kick-start Saturday’s discussion.
2:45 PM - 3:45 PM | ROOTED IN STRENGTH: INDIGENOUS WOMEN LEADING CHANGE
Join us for our 5th Annual Indigenous Women’s Panel Discussion as we acknowledge the importance of Native women’s stories and their ongoing activism and leadership. This conversation seeks to discuss the intersection of tradition and progress by recognizing how these women are shaping the future while remaining grounded in their heritage. Honoring these stories is honoring the power of Indigenous women as leaders and changemakers. Join us in welcoming Ashleigh Thompson, Rocío Villalobos, Ellen Bradley, and Melissa Arnott. 2024 Panelist Geneva Mayall will moderate this discussion.
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM | TOGETHER FOR CHANGE: THE POWER OF ALLYSHIP
At No Man’s Land, we believe that people of all gender identities play a role in achieving equality. Despite being presented as a woman’s only issue, gender equality requires collective action. What happens when men move beyond passive support and take an active role in feminist efforts? How can we collectively challenge traditional notions of masculinity and co-collaborate in dismantling societal and gender-based barriers? Join us as these male allies discuss and examine their role within a feminist movement and have shaped their own understanding of masculinity. We warmly welcome Scott Lehmann, Matt Park, and Connor Ryan to our stage.

5:45 - 6:45 PM | Beyond the finish line: women in sport
Women have historically been excluded from the “Outdoors” narrative, but the dynamic world of adventure sports has come a long way in leveling the playing field as more women and gender-diverse athletes elevate themselves from supporting roles into leadership roles. Our 2025 Athlete Panelists will discuss overcoming obstacles and challenging outdated norms with a focus on the dual themes of participation and leadership. Athletes Erin Spong, Mary Eden, Cail Soria, and Seneida Biendarra flip the script as they discuss resilience, strength, and defying expectations.
