Women have historically been excluded from the “Outdoors” narrative, but the dynamic world of adventure sports has come a long way in leveling the playing field as more women and gender-diverse athletes elevate themselves from supporting roles into leadership roles. Our 2025 Athlete Panelists will discuss overcoming obstacles and challenging outdated norms with a focus on the dual themes of participation and leadership. Athletes Erin Spong, Mary Eden, Cail Soria, and Seneida Biendarra flip the script as they discuss resilience, strength, and defying expectations.

Our 2025 Women in Film + Photography Panel Discussion poses questions about the changing landscape of gender and visual culture as it explores the roles of women and genderqueer people as subjects, creators, and consumers. Women, genderqueer, and gender nonconforming people are still underrepresented behind the camera, but not for lack of interest, talent, or skill. These thoughtful leaders will share their journey in their industry and talk about how the courage to rise and make change has shaped their futures and careers. We’re honored to highlight the role of women in influencing the visual arts and proudly invite Ellen Bradley, Erin McGrady, Dani Reyes-Acosta, and Janelle Dransfield to kick-start Saturday’s discussion.

Join us for our 5th Annual Indigenous Women’s Panel Discussion as we acknowledge the importance of Native women’s stories and their ongoing activism and leadership. This conversation seeks to discuss the intersection of tradition and progress by recognizing how these women are shaping the future while remaining grounded in their heritage. Honoring these stories is honoring the power of Indigenous women as leaders and changemakers. Join us in welcoming Ashleigh Thompson, Rocío Villalobos, Bradley, and Melissa Arnott. 2024 Panelist Geneva Mayall will moderate this discussion.

At No Man’s Land, we believe that people of all gender identities play a role in achieving equality. Despite being presented as a woman’s only issue, gender equality requires collective action. What happens when men move beyond passive support and take an active role in feminist efforts? How can we collectively challenge traditional notions of masculinity and co-collaborate in dismantling societal and gender-based barriers? Join us as these male allies discuss and examine their role within a feminist movement and have shaped their own understanding of masculinity. We warmly welcome Scott Lehmann, Matt Park, and Connor Ryan to our stage.
