3:00 PM - 3:50 PM FILM + PHOTO PANEL Discussion | sharp auditorium

Saturday kicks off with our Women in Film + Photography Panel Discussion. There are so many subtopics within the subject of women in photography and film and we’d like to take this opportunity to address some of them. The general advancement of these professions can only benefit from having more voices heard in an increasingly competitive environment, one that was historically dominated by a male narrative for so long. We will hear from some of the leading women in this industry, including renowned filmmakers and photographers Anya Miller, Bree Robles, and our 2021 Pitchfest Grant Recipient Siraad Dirshe. This conversation will be facilitated by professional speaker + climber, Nina Williams.

4:00 PM - 4:50 PM ATHLETE PANEL discussion | sharp auditorium

Our Athlete Panel this year includes invites passionate athletes Blake Hansen, Alex Johnson, Ashleigh Thompson, Erin Parisi, and Anna Hazelnutt to the stage. Women have historically been excluded from the “Outdoors” narrative, as the narrative was traditionally one of male dominance and assertion of masculinity, and today they are taking the outdoor adventure arena by storm. Professional climber Nina Williams will lead this panel where we will discuss, from our athlete’s personal perspectives, how this landscape has changed and where it’s headed.

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Vendor hour | Denver Art Museum

After our second afternoon panel discussion, you are welcome to hang out and mingle! Stop by our vendor booths and say hi to the great folks at Mountain Hardwear, Dometic, Black Diamond, Deuter who are responsible for bringing Flagship to life! Check out some of the amazing non-profit organizations that are doing really cool things for equitable accessibility and visibility locally, drink coffee from our new friends at Ampersand Coffee Roasters, and don’t forget to peruse some of our giveaway goodies! Did we mention that we have a silent auction? (sh).

Or, take a walk, get some fresh air and wander outside! There are some great things in downtown Denver for you to enjoy before our event starts up again that are all within heel-walking distance. This is a great opportunity to grab a small bite or beverage as per the DAM’s guidelines, no outside food or beverages are allowed at this event. Please be sure to check back in upon re-entry.

6:45 PM - 7:45 PM ALLIES IN GENDER EQUALITY panel discussion | sharp auditorium

We are heartened to see more co-conspirators joining the conversation to fight for gender equality. At No Man’s Land, we believe that all perspectives are a crucial part of this movement. We are thrilled to bring back our Allies in Gender Equality Panel Discussion for its fourth Flagship Festival with the acknowledgment that cisgender men and boys greatly benefit from conversations that tear down constrictive gender roles and stereotypes that negatively impact them, too. Feminism is for everyone and we proudly invite advocates and athletes Cody Kaemmerlen, Mountain Hardwear athlete Ethan Pringle, Lex Rodgers, and Forrest (Ọhịa) Mbali to stage. This powerful discussion will be led by Nina Williams.
