We cannot contain our excitement about returning to the Riveter in NC for ur 2nd Annual No Man's Land Film Festival! Join us on Friday, November 17th, to celebrate the spirit + strength of women + non-binary individuals in the outdoors! We have selected films that aim to break down barriers + create throughways for female-identifying, queer, + women of color to share their stories of resilience + increase representation in adventure sport.
This year Riveter is honored to host a presentation and Q&A with National Geographic Adventurer of the Year, hiker, speaker, and author Jennifer Pharr Davis as part of the evening's mission to promote gender equality + celebrate female achievement in the outdoors. Tickets include a presentation and Q&A with Jennifer prior to the screening. Jennifer is a long-distance hiker who set the record for the fastest Appalachian Trail hike by a woman! Additionally, there will be vendors of female-owned businesses, a food truck on site, specials in the taproom, + a raffle to benefit the Ladies Climbing Coalition.
General admission is $20 for a film ticket or $30 for a film ticket + climbing day pass. Showtime with intermission + raffle drawing is 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Pre-show presentation with Jennifer Pharr Davis is 5:15 - 5:45 p.m. This event provides closed-captions for those who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in order to increase accessibility.
